Wow, I can't believe that was their response. If you're a professional at your job, answer the questions, do your job right. Good thing you are not going there.

Yeah. I was shocked. I haven't had a chance to call Xtreme yet but they are probably who I'll use. Everyone else is either closed on weekends, won't go darker than legal, uses garbage film, or (as you can tell by their response) does not want my business.

Xtreme does exotics, so I've never worried about it. Their work has always been top notch on all my cars too.

Just got off the phone with a guy at Xtreme. I really liked what he had to say. Like jake mentioned....they work on lots of exotics and deal with high end clientele regularly. He said they don't mind if you watch them work, and have the whole facility under surveillance. I made an appointment for next week.

Nice! What kind of price range are they?
Surprisingly reasonable. For what I'll be getting they quoted $195. That is for their Suntek carbon film. This is good film that won't fade or turn purple, but doesn't have as much heat rejection as the more expensive ceramic films. The higher end ceramic films run around $500.

I've had the ceramic film on a car before that I daily drove, it was really nice but for the Mustang I went just one level below the ceramic which is the High Performance. It has decent heat rejection but it's not crazy high like the ceramic. I think my car was around 250'ish if I remember right.

What work are you having done? I'd like to see the results at some point-I have been delaying tint for a while, but need to get it done eventually..

Getting the windshield, or just sides/back?

I normally like 35-50% on the whole windshield, and 20-35% on the sides and back-depending on color of the car...

I need tint as well, the morning sun is killing me. I keep moving the visor to the side, then to the front, then to the side.

I'm going to get everything except the windshield. I'll probably do 25%. I want it darker than legal but not so dark that it attracts unwanted attention.

There is actually another guy selling a set of black PP wheels from my hometown in Illinois for $900. I just can't make myself make a decision on wheels. I'm accustomed to having higher end aftermarket wheels so going with basically stock wheels even though they are upgrades from mine and look spectacular is a tough decision. Since this is my DD and I'll drive it in crappy weather I'm thinking the PP wheels are the way to go for me too.

I've had this picture on my desktop for a week trying to convince myself to pull the trigger. Decisions decisions.
