I've been meaning to make it out there on my bike. Would be fun in the car, too.

I've heard there are other roads out there that are just as nice, but with less traffic. I'd imagine the dragon is always pretty congested due to its notoriety...

I'd love to make a Dragon trip. I don't drive very fast on the Dragon though, I've been way too many times in the S2000 and seen cars totalled so I tend to not be very fast on it. There are a ton of roads around it though. The Cherahala is one, there's also a lot of roads on the NC side towards Robbinsville to drive. You can't really go wrong in that area.

It would be sliding city from here until spring with most of the low temps anyway. We had a spring and fall event on S2ki. I'd like to go during the week, I know that's impossible for some people though. The weekends just get so busy.

I can't wait to join you guys. I'm hopping to move to the Nashville area about January, and should be buying a car shortly after arriving. It's nice to know there are a few guys around for when I am ready.

On that note if anyone has any tips on places to avoid and places to look for a house to rent it would be nice for help. Please PM me instead of clogging up this thread .

Eh, this is our Middle TN general topic thread plus other people might want to hear about where to live. Are you wanting to be in the city or in the burbs and are good schools a factor at all to you?
