I got my car last week, and I had all this week off work.....I wish I could have put some miles on the car but with this weather it's been just sitting in the garage. Hope the weather clears up by the weekend.....is there anything going on this weekend?
What a drag. Mine is going to be a DD so I will have to get used to RWD again and all the crap weather around here.

All I know of is Halloween and a time change. I am planning on scaring the kids in the neighborhood again this year :headbang:

I picked up mine last February and it sucked with it being so cold. Thankfully it's a third car for us so I just don't drive it in bad weather.
That's great to have it as a third car. Wish I had the luxury but with two teenage girls that won't be happening any time soon.

Love the new sig by the way.

Thanks man!

I daily drove an S2000 for a couple years through some winters on summer tires. It was before they put any TCS on them so that sucked. I got caught out in some snow and people were pissed I was going so slow but the minute I even started to try and move any faster I spun. Even a decent set of all-seasons should suffice for the few months of actual cold weather here at least.

I know what you mean. I got caught out in my turbo'ed Miata a long time ago in the 'Boro and it was not fun. But the Miata didn't have the amount of torque this guy is going to have either.

I know what rims I want to go with but I am still trying to decide tires. 315/30's seem hard to find in some kind of all season so I might be swapping out wheels every winter.

Mine is a DD. Poor thing gets driven 100 miles a day in Nashville traffic and has to get parked outside too. I'm not looking forward to winter.

On my workdays I will do about 80 miles round-trip. But on heavier days it could be around 100. Talk about racking up the miles real quick. Anyone do the extended warranty? LOL

We bought a focus for my wife in March of this year. We live north of town (almost halfway to Clarksville) and she works in Brentwood. The focus has 19k miles in 7 months.

I intend for the GT to have less miles than that in 5 years when it's paid for since it will be a garage queen/weekend cruiser. I work downtown but i have no intention of ever driving the car to work.

I was averaging 20-30k miles a year on cars, so I know the feeling. I'm finally only about 15 miles from work so hopefully that starts going way down. I only have 2800 miles on the Mustang now.

I agree but not sure I am the man to do that :) Since I am the only one without one of these beasts yet I will probably wear ya'll out with questions and such

I am up for it and my schedule looks better on Saturdays.

The drive to Franklin kills me everyday but I have learned how to manage it and get through the drive without wanting to kill somebody. Being that close to work would be great.

Did you get caught in the 386 debacle yesterday? Three cars in the left lane hit each other. The one in the middle looked trashed. 2 Ambulances and 2 squad cars. I gotta move.
