I spent the weekend in Houston for a wedding. My cousin bought a 2014 GT used a couple months ago that I didn't know about till I got there. The car has an intake of some kind, axle-back, 75 shot of nitrous, and a dyno tune. He is also on 15" drag radials. On motor it makes 386 RWHP and with spray it makes 448RWHP. He has only been to the track once and ran a 12.6 at 116MPH (with that trap speed I think he could drop a couple tents with more practice) Wish I wouldn't have driven it. Makes me think something is wrong with my car because with nitrous it just feels crazy fast. Even when not spraying, it feels significantly faster than my car. I think a lot of it is the tune making the throttle map touchiest than my factory tune. But still.....damn. I'm kinda disappointed now.

Need to line up with another guy with a stock S550 and make sure my car isn't running way off of what it should.

I'd just take it to a dyno, that's going to be the best thing. The 15's aren't really faster in a straight line than the 13 or 14. As soon as the road starts to turn, the 15 is going to walk away. Honestly if he's making 386 to the tire with those mods, that's what a stock 15 typically makes.

update with video…still real short and basic and still struggling with cutting down the wind. any go pro experts chime in on advice. using two wind socks. I guess I could add a third??

I think it sounds really good honestly. Maybe add a 3rd. I can't offer any assistance with it yet because I have never had a car that I would want to put it on. What mic are you using?

I really don't want to know what speed you were running on that on ramp. I mean when I was in Steve's rolling out 2nd it was just flying!

I went up to Two Rivers yesterday to try and do some additional paperwork but also to take a GT out since it has been a while. It's like it is fast but press you back in the seat fast. I could tell that it just wanted to keep pulling but I felt that I could handle it. Now that was getting on the interstate....I am sure an autocross course or road track would be totally different.
