My best friend from Texas is coming for a visit in March. He's condidering driving his 1LE Camaro. If he does I want to get some really nice pics of our cars together.

I also need to make friends with someone that has a scat pack challenger to complete the photo shoot.

I've got a friend with a scat pack, and another with a Hellcat..

I SOOOO want to beat the Hellcat at the dragstrip.. Last time we went, I was spinning like crazy on stock tires, also before E85.. He is on drag radials, but really needs a driver mod. If he doesn't figure it out when it warms up a little, I might be able to beat him a time or two!!

I did still beat the scat pack.. He is a pretty good driver though.

I figure a scat pack challenger is a closer match to a PP GT and 1LE Camaro than a hellcat. But either way it would still be cool to get an offering from each of the big 3 in one picture.

With Big Worm, you apply the pin stripes separately.. So I installed my metallic grey stripes and had ordered gloss black. I went without the pins for a few weeks, and decided I wanted gloss red instead. Since I never installed, I sent them back to Texas and got the red. I installed them in all, about a month after the big stripes. I love the pop of the red, but will be accenting with red (brakes, underhood, etc...) my car contrasts quite a bit though.

I originally wanted a flat white stripe to go on Oxford white, for the same affect you are after.. Unlimited to couldn't find any decent examples of how it would've turned out. I was gonna do flat white stripes with grabber blue pinstripes.

I'm happy with the route I took, the good thing is that it's only $200.. So I can change my mind later if I want!!

BTW, next mod received for birthday today..

Hey Jeremy, when you putting on the grill? Been thinking of going that way also and wanting to know how easy it was.

These will slow me down. I have to decide if I'm going to polish them before I paint them to smooth out all the cast marks or just paint as is. Then I have to figure out if my bolts will hold them on or if I need to acquire some GT bolts. Then the vinyl experiment with the S550 caliper stickers. Then getting them on the car!

You know, I almost said something about that and then decided against it because I wasn't sure your pun was intentional.

At least it's an actual GT350 :)

I'm sure I'll get shit for my fenders and steering wheel from some people.
I won't give you any shit IF you let me know when your R spec wheels arrive so I can check them out live and decide if I want to order them in a custom color.

I got the TPMS tool in from American Muscle. Got the car in training mode but it just kept honking at me and telling me tire not trained - repeat........so that was fun. Good times.

I just have the R steering wheel, not the actual wheels. If I'm reading that correctly.

That sucks. Are you just doomed to have the TPMS light on all the time? Id get tired of that real quick.

(Is that any cornier than nicks brake pun?)

I get it. ;) So I watched American Muscle's video on it and they said to turn cell phones off and be 15 ft away from the nearest car. I was using the flashlight app on my cell phone and my wifes Fusion was 12 inches away so hopefully doing those two things will make it link up.
