Installing with some friends would actually be a good time and good practice, just gotta find a good time to do it. Let's talk about setting something up after the new year. My old old Eclipse club used to do spring install and CAI install meets and it was a blast. I'm making an offer on a house in Hendersonville just down the road from the townhouse we're in now.

I am off work from this Thursday till Jan 4. I know me and the wife are doing projects around the house since the kids will be gone but I am sure that I can fit this in. Besides I need someone to pull into my driveway so I can see if I will have clearance issues....especially after I drop it.

I think we can rent the spring compressor from Autozone or where ever.

I have spring compressors and have done all of the work on my car if you need a hand. The springs aren't that bad on this car. I had track.one do my alignment after I put on my adjustable toe links. The factory pieces aren't going to align back to factory specs with springs. You'll end up with more camber, it just depends on what you're looking for.

The steeda progressives only give 3/4" drop. I would guess (although I admittedly have nothing to base this on) that you could still align properly with something so mild. If I recall jake said his car is lowered somewhere around 1.5" so maybe that's why he had to get other components to get a proper alignment?

I thought I had seen people say they only dropped about .75". Maybe I'm crazy. If that doesn't sound right, disregard. I never really looked Ito it, just thought I read that somewhere.

Our progressives lower the front 1.125" and rear 1"

They may only drop 3/4". Spec on them says 1" rear 1.125" front. I probably won't notice the 1/4" at the end of the day.

On the alignment issue. The front has zero camber adjustment from the factory so whatever it ends up at after lowering, well that's pretty much where you are stuck with. You can adjust the toe but nothing you can really do about the camber. I had bought the Maximum Motorsports front camber plates when I did my springs. Steeda hadn't released their plates at that point. So that took care of my front issue.

The rear has an eccentric bolt that allows adjustment for camber from the factory and has adjustable toe. The issue is, there's not a ton of adjustment. I'm not sure if the width of my wheels plus tire size were just pushing everything super negative because honestly that's not a ton of drop that I'm running. The Steeda toe links allowed enough adjustment to get the rear about where I wanted it. Now, I'll probably end up getting the upper arms just so I can really dial it in even more.

If you drive the car every day and really want the alignment to be spot on and have great tire wear and zero worries, I suggest a front camber plate and rear toe links at the least. A lot of people when I was searching kept saying "my car didn't need anything, it's in alignment..." and I call bs on that after experiencing what I went through. With that said, toe is going to do more damage than camber once lowered so if you're ok with the negative camber you can dial in the toe without buying anything.
