Taillights Cracking?

I've noticed some sort of internal cracking on the plastic on my taillights. normal?

Interesting. It almost looks like plastic “crazing” which usually occurs and is seen in older (aged) transparent plastic parts.

Are you still under warranty? If so, the Dealer will have to take REALLY good pics when submitting to Ford to show the crazing in order to get Ford to replace under warranty.

If worse comes to worse and Ford won’t warranty them, those 15-17 tails have come way down in pricing (street, not retail). I’ve seen sets (L & R) on eBay and even on this site for $300-$500. Don’t try to buy them through Ford at all, as low retail is $600 and as high as $800 EACH. When the S550 first hit the street, those tails were over $1k each through Ford.

still under warranty for a little bit longer, im at 60k, i have the extended for 65k
maybe ill swing by the dealer today after work and try to just start the process.

The little round circle - is that part of the mold of the taillight or did something hit it? It kind of looks like all the stress cracks are branching out from that spot.

no thats part of the mold to my understanding considering the circles are uniformly placed throughout the taillight

Yes, those are from the tooling mold.
