Looking for some information concerning tail lights at start up. I have seen many videos where at start up the tail lights seem to have a scrolling look to them similar to a slot machine. Here is link which shows what I mean. You can see it at the 3:40. My 2015 does not do this at start up. Is there a way to make my car do this? Thanks

Yours probably does this but normally you only see this when videoing LED lights. Something to do with the refresh rate of the LEDs and FPS of your video. When seeing with only eyes it appears to be a steady light but really LEDs flash really fast. I think, but I could be totally wrong. Wouldn't be the first time!

Oh, I had not thought of that. Not visible to the naked eye. That makes sense, thanks!

Yep, just an artifact of the video recording.

If you don't have LED's, and add them later. And your car is equipped with a function that tells you when a bulb is not working.
Called bulb check, the added LED's will Strobe during that function. Some cars do it only and start up, others do it then, and then every few minutes or so.

This is true it is a product of digital recording you get the same affect if you watch a vid of a prop driven aircraft you can see the individual props as you watch the vid. On old style video tape the props are a blur you can not see the individual prop blades.
