Sync 3 volume jump bug?

I did a search on this but I couldn’t find a match. I have a 16 GT premium with Sync 3. I have upgraded to V3.0. After I start the car, if I use the steering wheel controls and adjust the volume up, the volume doesn’t just go up 1 notch, but rather jumps 3 or 4 notches. It is just the first time, if i hit the up volume again, it bumps up a single notch like it should. If I adjust the volume down first, I don’t have the problem. When i hit the up key, the head unit temporarily shows volume 0 but then quickly changes to the actual volume. I don’t know if it matters but i usually leave the head unit on when i shutdown the car. Anyone have this issue?
