SYNC 3 Sirius Radio Question

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the Sirius Satellite Radio option from the list of media options? My free trial has expired, but it still shows up.

My issue is that when I use the "M" button on the wheel, it still scrolls through the 3 Sirius options to get from FM Radio to Bluetooth Audio. It pops up a box that says my trial has expired, which does not go away unless I close it (even if I go back to FM Radio, it still stays popped up). A minor annoyance, but it would be easier to just flip back and forth between the media options I can actually access.

I'm guessing there is no way to change this, but I thought I would ask anyway in case someone may know.

I haven't tried to find that in the as built.. But if it is possible you would have to reprogram the apim and the ACM

I wish. Sync 2 does this too. So very annoying. Reprogramming the apim is the only way I have heard of. I kind of assumed they would have fixed this for Sync 3.

Nope. Let's see the new software with Apple Carplay would use universal preset or not.

Well that sucks. I was hoping there was maybe a simple menu option I missed but it looks like we're not that lucky. Thanks guys. Really makes me look forward to the Android/Apple update.

I've had some issues with my Sync 3 system, and had been in contact with someone from the Ford IVT team. She had said that there's a forum for Sync feedback, and posted a link on TMS. I'll try to find it and post here.

i know it is not sync 3 BUT Here is MFT.. If I had a sync 3 apim I bet I could make it go away on that.. Here is a pic

no it stays there incase you decide to get subscription.. the worst part is sirius will keep calling after the trial is up to get you back in
