I purchased this kit last year and recently decided to sell my Mustang. This unit does include navigation. I’m also including the OBDLink EX FORScan OBD Adapter. This kit is all that is needed to upgrade to Sync 3, if you already have Sync 2 with the 8" screen.

Edit: Added two pics that were taken before removing it from the car.

Asking: $500

A few questions for ya:
1) Does this allow for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto functionality?
2) Is there an installation guide for the necessary software changes through FORscan?
3) Where did you source this kit?

Cheers

Sorry. Didn't see that I had a response until just now.

1. It does allow for Carplay and Android Auto.

2. I used a youtube video to install it. It only took about an hour. This kit can replace a sync2 system. If you don't have the Sync2 8" screen you would need to find the brackets to mount it. The kit makes you use the existing brackets of the old system.

As for Forscan, there are some guides in the Infotainment and Electronics section of the forum. I purchased the adapter thinking I would be making additional changes but never used it. Most of it would likely work with no changes. It would obviously have a different vin number. If you don't have all of the premium features that I had in my Mustang those may not work. In that case, Forscan would be needed to turn certain things off.

3. I purchased it from Hellhorse Performance. They originally screwed up my order, but made up for by sending me the replacement unit that included the built-in nav maps.
