Switchback Turn Signals?

Hey all,

Any advice on some switchback turn signals? I emailed Diode Dynamics and they said 4-5 weeks before the redesigned models are ready. I am in MN and was hoping to have something quick for the rest of the season. Thanks in advance!

Several other users have already received the updated design. But I have the old style and don't have any problems with them.

The new "updated" design has issues - mine did. The sometimes stayed on amber and at other times refused to light up at all. This has something to do with the programming which DD outsourced.

DD gave me a full refund and have put me on the list for when they get new ones in. They are going to complete significant testing on the new design to ensure the issues they have been having are solved.

I'm waiting for DD because I don't trust the cheapies you can find on eBay or Amazon which come from overseas. I can only imagine returning those would be extremely problematic.

I have the current "re-designed" ones mentioned above aka GEN 2......3 weeks in the car now and they are working flawless. Maybe I got lucky? Oh well, im enjoying them now and if they do go bad, Diode Dynamics will just send me GEN 3's when released

I had the new switchbacks for mine and they wen't out after 3 months. Called DD and they said their going to be send new ones out in a few week to replace them. Keep in mind, when the my switchback failed it cause the rear red driving light to not work either. When I changed back to the OEM amber in from the rear red driving lights starting working again. The dealership had no idea how to correct this issue until I trouble shot myself, just a heads up!

Since I am local i was able to get some early new design ones.

The new ones have been 100% spot on since Mid June. So they are worth the wait.

That's not the latest gen.

ebay has them for 25 dollars....why people still pay 70+ for these...and go for months without them while waiting for DD to finish their new product...I'll never understand.

Goblue....you are running then GEN 2 revised version that I am running now for a few months, not the GEN 3 version they did not even start working on until mid August because people were having problems with the revised version as well. So far, my GEN 2 have been problem free as well
