Yes I know first world problems but I need my hot tea in the morning commute.

I have managed in all my cars to have a suitable thermo mug of some sort but as we know the RHD cars have the cup holders in the way of the gearlevel (for us manual owners) .
I did find a good one in John Lewis, its just the most height I can stand before it gets in the way.

Works well and no leaks.
Sadly only a small cup size, I miss my large Contigo Travel mug, which is too tall for this car.

Top tip avoid those cheap Mountain warehouse type mugs with a push on lid and silicone seal they always leak and if its going to happen it will be down your trousers!! Sods law.

If anyone else has a good one with screw on lid and wider diameter please let me know.

I use a cheap & cheerful screw on one. I'm not one to make a brew everyday so the fact it's not sealed doesn't bother me. Nice size IMO & doesn't get in my way when shifting. Plus it looks cool :sunglasses: https://pand.co/collections/mugs/products/caffeine-gasoline-mug
Cool thanks.
I was considering if there was a way to drill out the bottom of the holder nearest the gearlever, to get some more depth but think I am getting too geeky about it haha.

Its a hard life isnt it!

If a suitable cup is the most of your Mustang worries then you're doing pretty well!
Haha not quite! I decided to stop reading the panic threads about engines, suspension and all the other stuff that can potentially go wrong after 5 mins of ownership!
I am just past 4000 miles on mine, praying it wasn't built on a Friday by someone who doesnt care and hope it will go the distance. This car has to last me, it was a one off I cant afford to change again.
