Looking to fit a strut tower brace to my baby, I know a few of you have had this done.

It seems to me these are for LHD models, adjusted for our RHD cars,
I am lucky enough to be in the states in July and will have a choice of most makes (if I can fit them in the suitcase)

Advice on make, fitting, value ,etc very welcome.

I went for the Ford Racing GT350R strut brace through David at GT101. He tried the strut brace on a RHD car and it lines up perfectly with the K Brace mounting bolts. However if you remove the nuts to bolt it down as it should be it fouls on the RHD K brace. You could bolt it down on top leaving the K brace nuts in place but that's not how it's supposed to go. To make it clear you need to remove 9mm from the back edge of the brace. Not major but it's a fairly thick section. Obviously you'd then need to repaint the cut edges. This is the back edge (nearest the bulkhead) so wouldn't really be visible when it's all done.

FWIW If its really a GT350R brace like I have, its made of aluminum. Don't know if that's a plus or minus or neutral regarding touch-up painting or not painting. But I think its definitely a plus from a weight standpoint. Looks are subjective but I think its the best looking one too which would apply also to the apparently identical looking GT350 one in steel. The GT350 braces look a lot like the S197 V6 Performance Package struts which were also used on the Boss 302s when they came into being.

Steeda !

Have ordered one and it's a RHD one, awaiting delivery some time July. I bet in typical fashion it's turns the day before I go away for 3 weeks to the US and I too will be looking for "toys" to bring home !

I have the Ford Racing brace and it fits fine. You have to torque it down but not excessively.
