Hey guys I recently installed a stage 2 whipple kit and everything has been running flawlessly. Ever since I first drove my car with the kit installed I can hear a high pitch whistle/squeal sound. I only hear it at certain rpms and only during part throttle, it isn't a constant sound. I figured it was some type of belt squeal but when the car is running in the garage no matter what rpm or throttle position I am at it wont replicate the sound. Is the sound possibly from the throttle body only being partly open and sucking in air under load? and for the record the noise I am talking about is not the blower whine. any help is appreciated. Thanks

I think what you are hearing is the slight whistle sound these whipples make at part throttle around 2 k rpm. If that's it, its normal and a pleasant sound to my ear. No worries and enjoy the (WWW) whistle and Whine of your Whipple.

probably the belt squeaking. does it go away after awhile? if it does then its the belt. cold starts belt squeak is pretty noticeable but after its warmed up goes away

Got a recording of the sound?? It might be the typical / normal Whipple sound at idle. At idle it has almost a "whistle" sound, which is the pre-cursor to the "whine" you get at higher rpm's. A sound clip would be very helpful.

No it doesn't make any noise on start up or at idle or revving it while sitting still

No it won't be audible on a recording because the exhaust is pretty loud. It doesn't make the sound at idle.

If it's not the sound at idle, then I have no idea. I assumed it was the whistle / whine that we all get at idle. I hear it when I coming to a stop also on mine. So, it's not just at "idle". But it is low RPM range. After that I don't hear it again until pushing it hard at or above 4k RPM's, when the actual whine kicks in. But I don't hear the whine unless the windows are up.
