Not sure what is going on…. When I step on it, I get a strange noise, sounds turbo related, definitely not exhaust! Took a Quick Look under the hood, nothing seems out of place. 66k on odometer.

Not knowing what to look at, I thought one of the large air hoses may have come off

This is weird! Turns out that the exhaust flange at the block came loose! I’ve never seen that happen

Louder than whistle, only on harder acceleration, the exhaust flange where it bolts to the turbo is loose, Didn’t expect that.

I will check mine. Have a whistling noise like I had on Volvo. No affect on power per dyno.

It is annoying. Started at 20K miles. I checked all the hoses & clamps. Was going to replace the PVC baffle, that's known to leak boost, with the Radium PVC baffle. Will check the exhaust flange first.

You tightened it and noise went away?

I could spin the nut with bare hands! Tightened it up, will check it in the morning.
