need some advice,looking for a decent outdoor cover for 2018 gt stang,preflaby stormproof ,waterproof
they seem to be a bit hard to come by,let me know what to look for and your thoughts if you have one.

I've had the covercraft outdoor one for about 2 1/2 years, I bought it from another member who had sold his mustang. I'd essentially have it on about 4 days then 3 days off when I was driving the car. Very light, very soft inside. The fabric feels weird, like mushed up egg carton cardboard with felt. It is pretty much impossible to clean, so over the last year or so with the heavy rains we have had it was deteriorating so I would get residue on the car after rain.

I just had a carport built, so if you want to borrow it to test it out, you are welcome, I am at Merrimac or could take it into my work at Bundall.

I would have once suggested CoverCraft, I have four of them. But at some point, the local importer stopped selling them, so you have to buy direct from the USA. Naturally that bumps up the price.

I'd be looking at Purfit now, they offer both indoor and outdoor covers.

Didn’t want to spend that much , only need it for a couple of months then new garage should be built.

I would have once suggested CoverCraft, I have four of them. But at some point, the local importer stopped selling them, so you have to buy direct from the USA. Naturally that bumps up the price.

I'd be looking at Purfit now, they offer both indoor and outdoor covers.

Good point i did talk the guy who owns/runs the place and told him exatly what i had and what extras i have on the car,and this is the one he sent the link of to me saying it would fit and is the one i need.
maybe i ring him again just to verify again.

They are locally made, considering the Ford GT was never sold here, I do wonder why it was listed as that in his system?

From what I was told, this company used to import/distribute CoverCraft, but went into making his own. I'll no doubt be ordering one from him for my S650.

Thanks for the info, when I looked at the 2 covers the ford GT and Mustang GT they both looked identical so not sure maybe just used wrong image.

Probably just a representative image, not of the actual car and cover. I'd dare say he buys the patterns, hence having the Ford GT available.

yea he has all the templates, when I said ki have the mustang get 350 rear wing and front splitter he said no problem I have all the templates so that’s pretty handy that he can do custom stuff.
