So I have been having a popping noise from the rear of the car and found on of the diff bushings has some damage. I have the bmr bushings with upgraded bolt kit I’m going to install. Do I need to replace the factory bushings first? One of the bushings is still good only one has some damage.

I would think that you’ll be okay to install the BMR bushing kit with the upgraded bolt kit, but if you’re going to remove the cradle from the car, I’d go ahead and replace both of them with a poly kit. I have the black bushing kit from Steeda with their through bolt kit installed on mine and so far, they’re holding up just fine.

If I ever experience any trouble from my factory bushings, the Steeda bushings will come out and the damaged factory bushings will be replaced with poly bushings.
