For those who have swapped wheels/tires from stock 255/40/19 square to something else such as 285/35/19 square, how did that change the ride AND handling dynamics? Thoughts in general? Also, I know the two tires I list only have a .1 inch difference in sidewall, but I wonder whether the 285/35/19 will be much stiffer riding?

I went from 235/50-18 to 285/35-19. I think the ride might've gotten a liiiiittle firmer but it wasn't all that noticeable. The handling difference was night and day though. Turn-in was quicker and grip improved significantly. The steering felt a little more communicative too. But I also switched from all-seasons to more aggressive summers and my new wheels were lighter.
