Probably a stupid question....... but I know nothing about tires, so I thought I'd ask anyway.

I assume I can safely move from the stock 265 35/20 up to 275 35/20 without any drama? Many more options available in that size.

You can without a doubt. If you look at the tires on my car (signature pic) those are 275/35/20's. They are Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06's. I have no issues with rubbing or scraping. I had these tires on stock wheels for 900 miles until I got my new wheels. Even though the wheels are staggered, the tires are square (all 4 are the same size). The 275 even fit on the smaller 20x8.5 rim. The stock rim is a 20x9.

Thanks guys. I had a set of Pilot Sport AS/3s installed today: they're a huge improvement over the stock Pirellis.
