Steering Wheel Buttons not working

Started off this morning as usual, buttons all functional. Go into a place for coffee, next time I start up, none of the buttons are working.. Paddles and stems all seem functional, just front facing buttons. Any ideas as to why this might be?

There is a TSB for intermittent steering column control failures. TSB #45012

Anyone have any info on fixing this, or what the TSB is about. I looked on TSB site and it doesn't say anything.
