I presume I will have to modify the passenger side to fit my car

Well this gets interesting, as some people my have already seen my 1st set of UK hood struts did not have any struts in, so Steeda UK sent me another set out, which was a complete set, so decided to fit the complete set, but does not fit, so thought I would check original fittings that came with the 1st set and look at the difference

Interesting indeed. Presume the bracket on the left is the original UK one? The one on the right is maybe for the LHD cars?

I had to elongate to hole for mine to fit so now assuming I have also been sent LHD brackets.

Currently fitting my Redline Elites from CJ Pony. I've had to grind literally a slither off one edge to get the passenger side into position but hopeful there'll be no hole enlargement necessary now. Waiting on the paint to dry so I can finish off.

Eclipsar that's a thing of beauty. I went for the recommended 19mm hole but got it in the wrong place initially. Now have a hole roughly the same shape as the headlight from a 2005 Impreza WRX...but at least the battery cover can be wriggled out of the way without removing the strut if necessary...

Now we just need someone to sell the battery cover with the strut hole

For those that have installed hoodstruts; have you removed the factory prop or just left it in place?

I removed mine.....:)

Reinstall the bolt though...looks untidy without it

Ruby Red Mustang GT ...just sold :-(
I may have missed something @SteedaUK but weren't these UK struts meant to avoid any drilling? Thanks
