Steeda, (or anybody if they happen to know) please can you confirm whether the "SCT X4 Tuner + Steeda Tunes" you are selling includes specific tunes for UK cars or just US imports? If it does work on UK cars roughly what gains can we expect with and without your CAI?

They e mailed me saying this was via Royal Mail and included VAT.
As far as i know i have never been charged VAT at the post office.

Because only Royal Mail are exempt from VAT. Anyone selling goods with delivery has to charge VAT on the whole amount, even if they use Royal Mail.

Got you.Still does not explain why it costs £7.50 ex vat to post out a spring.

Royal Mail special delivery for small parcel is £7.25 so their price isnt exactly over the top really. Assuming they send special that is which I would hope they are for the guaranteed delivery.

Special is guaranteed by 1pm or even 9am if you pay more and it is insured for £500. Recorded delivery would be better for sending out a cheap item as it can be tracked and is insured for £50 and is a lot cheaper than special.
