Just wondering if anyone is running this setup and how does it perform/how do you think it will preform? I am about to pull the trigger on the shocks since I am already running the steeda springs. Thanks guys!

Interested Also - I live in an area with rough roads, and thinking I may need to switch from the progressives. Too harsh of a ride for "me and the sweety", and I'm starting to wonder if the issue is more the stock struts and shocks.

Too harsh a ride with the progressive springs? Interesting...first time I have heard that with those springs. They ride better than the stock PP springs.

A matched pair of dampers will certainly improve ride comfort.

MustangCollector has done a good review on the FRPP with Steeda Ultralite Linear Springs, which is the same setup that I decided to go with after seeing his review. We are both in the Northeast where the roads suck, and the ride is very good with this setup.

I have this setup as well, ride is great, a tad firmer at low speeds but at higher speeds the ride is much better and no bounce. Handles amazing as well with great feedback.

Winning setup, but heard great things with BMR Handling springs and FRP dampers as well. BMR's sit a little higher I think. :)

Do the FRP dampers come with the shocks and struts?

A damper is a strut. The FRPP Shocks and Struts come as a package, and then you can add whatever springs you like to them. Steeda is even nice enough to install the springs on them for you for an additional fee if you're lazy like me.

Thanks, I found the thread and read start to finish. I need to sit back and think this through, I may have jumped the gun. I've only had these springs on for a couple of weeks, and already looking at possibly switching oooorr adding shocks and struts. Wish this thread was available a few weeks before i actually purchased over black friday lol.

I need to study the effects of lowering the car and the impact of struts and shocks. May wait to see Steedas offering of shocks and struts for the progressives also.

Whew, my head is spinning lol

The Koni's coming out from Steeda, likely in April (end of) will be matched perfectly with their Progressive springs. I had this confirmation from David.

Did you pull the trigger?

Thinking I might just try the fr shocks and struts, and if it doesn't workout, then swap out for linear springs.

The thought of pulling off the springs with only 500 mile, when the progressive has the perfect height for me
