I'm just surprised that they know there's an issue, and there "resolution" is not to go back to fix the design problem, but leave it to the customer to "hack away" at it, until it finally lines up. And the justification is...welcome to modding your car.

Who ever said they weren't fixing it? I can 100% promise you they are aware of what issues were faced with the first batch and those issues are being addressed, please refrain from speaking about things that you are not informed or in the know about.

I don't speak for anyone except for myself, as a potential future-customer, that was seriously interested in the fascia, until I've heard about the issues, and their unwillingness to do anything about it.

I won't go away, I'll express my opinion, the same as you will. That's kind of the point of a forum, right? Discuss things related to our cars.
The name of this thread is "Steeda Fascia Install Tips" if you have "complains" and/or "concerns" go to their forum and voice them there!

You beginning to sound like a cry baby and you don't even have this fascia!

Again if you have any TIPS for getting this fascia installed GO AHEAD if not GO AWAY

Finally installed mine today with the help of a buddy. Extra set of hands was basically a necessity for mine. Had the issues with the fog lights. For that we basically just pushed as hard as we could on the housings while the other guy tightened them down. The grille was a different issues, I got a pre painted one and it almost seemed like the paint was too built up on the clips and had rounded them off so they wouldn't grab on the grille. Ended up using a dremel cut off wheel and using a slow speed notched the clips so they had a sharp edge for the grille to grab onto again. I need to adjust my hood latch up a little bit now to get the hood lined up with the top of the fascia but all in all it is installed and I'm happy with the look. It definitely could have been an easier installation but it is doable. I also used Nathan's advice and flattened the brackets to attach the PP belly pan. I'll be going on a road trip tomorrow so I'll find out if there are any issues lol.

Oh also for the grille around the opening on the fascia for the upper grille, there were a few little notches sticking out that were interfering a little also, ground them down smooth. I apologize for not taking pictures, we were kind of winging it and just figuring things out as we went and trying to get through it at smooth as possible.

Yeah the grille took some good pushing to snap in. I didn't notch mine any but did have to use some good force. I need to adjust my latch too. the middle of my hood is just slightly lower than the bumper top. I was wondering if I needed to cut down the peaks on the core support a little more but I might just try to adjust the latch first. I don't think the paint is the issue on the grille so much as just the thickness of the tabs. I know mine has some decently high speeds and held up strong. Looks awesome on your car!
