That was my point though, it was just the way the op phrased it, mentioning software, in the 1st post, a tune is what Americans call a remap, which is what he was asking for as he mentioned power figures and stated remap in the title…. It’s a terrible term like fenders, liscence plates, headers etc that has crept into our language…..remap, front wings, number plates and manifolds! LololA tune isn't a software update or upgrade like you do with your Sync system, a tune is more of a configuration change. The tune contains all new tables or maps that the ecu uses by taking input data and looking at the table to get an output. The term remap is the data in these tables being remapped to the new values set by your tuner.
