Squeaking front end, over bumps. Very faint.

Hey guys. I have 2017 Mustang GT and have been experiencing a little squeak in the front end for a month or so now. I tried recording it but it’s hard to hear.. it doesn’t make a clunk just a squeaking noise it’s so strange.

It happens over bad roads otherwise it’s silent on flat roads.

I’m on fortune auto coilovers, have steeda extended ball joints and steeda’s bump steer kit.

The only thing not replaced is the upper ball joint.

It’s driving me nuts. I’ve also been experiencing vibration in the foot well/gas pedal very very slight. Possible engine mounts? I don’t see anything leaking. So not sure.

Last year I had an absolutely terrible squeak/creak in the rear suspension when going over speed bumps. I checked the sway bar bushings and they were dry af. Zero grease left.

I ended up ordering new sway bar bushings and greasing them heavily. The squeak was gone immediately after.

You might be having the same issue on your front sway bar.

It does sound like it’s in the middle of the car somewhere can’t narrow down the side it’s on.. you might be onto something. I wonder how hard they are to replace

Just stock as far as I know. It’s a performance pack car so if that gets an upgraded swaybar, that I guess lol.

It’s just a black swaybar. Looks stock to me

Go to fortune auto they have them there. They are sleeves that go over spring to eliminate noise.

They do indeed. Apparently it’s the HEIM joints (my bumpsteer kit)
