Speedo calibration

Based on diameters, at least one of the stock tire sizes is wrong. For example, the 255/40R19 on the EB PP is 27.1", whereas the rear tire on the GT PP, a 275/40R19, is 27.7".

Do these cars have different speedo calibrations to compensate, or is Ford selling cars with inaccurate speedos?

Speedo calibration is done in the computer. I know it can be corrected by tuners you might even be able to do it yourself with a SCT tuner or some other brand.

This is correct. The size of the tire can be modified via the ECM and it will adjust your speedometer accordingly.

So in advance of a tune, go to the dealer? I tried to find details on this today but could only find speedo gears for previous generations of Mustangs.

The dealer should be able to calibrate for tire size and gears.
