I would love to hand wash but condo rules don't allow washing cars on premises. I have mobile detailers that come once a week to wash it by hand with the two bucket method and grit guard. I only run it through the no touch wash and towel dry with microfiber edge less towels. It's got a CQuartz coating and no micro scratches. I can't even hit it with a quick detail spray without running it through the touch less wash because there is always some dust or debris from parking outside. I cringe a little every time I take it through it through. I wish there was a place I could take it to wash it by hand but there isn't. I'm neurotic enough with my baby as it is.

Thanks again. (I'm also 45, 1970 was a good year!). I'm pretty happy with the car as well. Yours is Guard? It's a gorgeous color as well. It was between guard, CO and DIB. Last car was white.

It's Magnetic actually. It was between CO, DIB, and Magnetic. My previous Stang I traded for the S550 was silver. I feared too much attention from the police with CO, I wasn't sure about DIB with Redline so Magnetic with Redline interior was it. Redline was a must unless I went with CO. I'm very happy with my choice as well.

I did do a drive by and had all intentions of coming back. I even went through the touch free wash before coming by. I had to go to the grocery store and when I came out of said store it was starting to rain. I didn't think everyone would stay through the rain so I came home and didn't go back. I did see several S550s there. I saw the black V6, and gorgeous CO vert before heading out.

I'm so bummed about the wheels and I am being a baby about it. Fortunately I take my car next Monday to have them repaired.

I'm not going to make it to any meets this weekend because I have family coming to town this week.

There is a place you can wash it by hand, I think. There is a Citgo on Sample and Powerline. Right behind it is where I usually go if I need to hit a touchless, and they have three bays where you can do it yourself. It's not free, and I'm sure they expect you to use the brush wands they have there, but I'm sure you don't have to use their stuff.

Really? Looks like I need to buy some Chemical Guys stuff. Thanks! I will check that out. There's also something similar on Commercial, I will look into these.

Figured I'd asked this to the guys that have these cars down in south Florida just like me. Do you guys get moisture in the headlights and fog lights during rainy/humid days?? Wondering if this is something I should have looked at.
