I am considering swapping the hood on my car, to probably one of the Cervini models, but my car came with the offset strips from the factory.
I am trying to figure out the best option on what to do with hood for a stripe.
1. My dealership told me the stripe kit from Ford is about $800 (seems insane and can't buy specific sections) but on Ford Accessories I don't see them listed, so it may be a dealer only option?
2. Have the hood stripe painted when the hood gets done, but would that look odd with the rest of the car being a decal?
3. This option I am really trying to avoid- take the stripe off the whole car and replacing it with a dual more standard stripe, but from what I have seen these OEM ones are considered "forever stripes" and that is in reference to the glue not the longevity of the finish, and it is an absolute pain in the ass to get the residue off.
I reached out to Big Worm Graphix as they sell the same "style" offset stripe, but they did tell my they are not the OEM size, so that's out.
Anyone have a source for an OEM sized off center stripe kit?
