So many people as of late do DNA tests and genealogy family trees. To see their origins. If you’ve done it or have participated:

How far back has your family been traced.

What continent(s)and country(ies) do your family originate from.

What’s something that has stood out about an ancestor(s).

I don’t have much to add because I’m waiting for information from my dad and my mothers brothers since she has passed but it seems that it’s going to be a fun and intriguing journey.

I did the DNA testing. If you are white, odds are good your origin will be north or central Europe, depending on how far back you go. That's what I expected and that's what I got.

Wife did 23 and me waiting on her results. She’s 6’2” white blue eyes. I’m about to do it also. Probably next month. Waiting to see what I can get from my family and see how it develops to bounce it off my DNA test.

I have my fathers side of the family tree that dates back to the 1700’s from Maine and NH. My father was Yankee/Indian and I have no clue what Yankee actually is. My mother was first generation Italian as my grandparents emigrated from Italy in the early 1900’s. I’ve been thinking about doing a DNA test from Ancestry.com to find out what I really am made of.

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
I’m content with my families story’s of my ancestors and don’t feel the need to hand over DNA to a company that can do whatever they want with the information.

Government has mine already🥺. That whole military service thing screws your attempt at keeping your DNA info obscure.
