Some help if possible please

I have the digital dash with the performance pack gauges in the middle of the dash (Vacuum and oil pressure) I know they are supposed to light up with the colour selected for the main display, anyone have any idea as to why mine wont light up with the selection? it stays in the "light" colour, I see the needle change to a brighter red when I select red and orange but the back lighting wont change. any way to reset it? unhook the battery? Any help would be great. Thanks
