Installing some Stainless Works headers on my TV'S car next weekend not sure if I want to upgrade with solid or urethane mounts. Car is 75% street and 25% dragstrip driven, I don't mind a little nvh (subjective I know) but I don't want to feel like I'm cruising around in a promod on the street. Any opinions or suggestions would be great appreciated.

I have the Prothane Motor Mounts... Slight vibration at idle, but most of mine comes from my full 3" Kooks exhaust.

beefcake any drawbacks to those solid motor mounts on your site besides NVH?

nvh is it[/QUOTE

Don't do it.
They come with the KB kit and the NVH noise along with the rasp/Tinny sound from the headers(SW)has spoiled the experience of the 3.2/ 8 rib on my newly built block/GT 350 heads.
I am going to try one more exhaust combo -adding resonators to my H pipe (GT 500 axle backs ) but if that does not do it I am going back to stock manifolds(or GT 359 manifolds if I pcan get them)
I have tried with cats and catless /X-pipe with resonators/Gubson muffler but so far sound better with the catless /non resonated H pipe except for tinny sound /rasp that seems now at the muffler (instead off coming from where the old resonators on the mid pipe -right below the seat)

I however suspect a lot the noise is NVH from the mounts.
If it is still bad -if I end up with stock manifold/)I am likely going to sell it (I was hoping before to hold off selling until the next GT 500)

I get a bit of a vibration from the solid mounts but it's not that bad.
