I would appreciate any feedback on selling this car. I understand I wont recoup mostbif any of the modification money Ive put into it, but KBB lists trade in at 29-32k. Is this unrealistic? What is reality on this car?

TIA

I'm not quite sure, but I know that the current regional value of my 19' GT PP2 is around $27k and I have 6k miles on the odometer. I traded in my 15 PP1 with abt 40k miles on the odo for $22k when I had about 15k left on the car note. Just to give you an idea for your car. KBB is a suggestion, an not the rule considering that car dealerships routinely sell cars below KBB value... which tells me that they are acquiring these trades at a value significantly less that KBB.
The mods on your car actually hurts the value of the car... return to as much as stock as possible and sell the aftermarket parts individually. I would say that between $20 - $25k would be a fair price to get your car sold.
Food for thought and good luck with your sale!

Hey, I’ve been searching for stangs for a while now. Given the milage, condition and assuming it’s a clean title 1 owner no accident car, tops I think you’d be looking at 25k. Given the economic situation, I think you’ll be lucky with that too. I’m sorry it’s worse than you think but I’m basing my estimate on MMR history, Estimate and MMR retention, as well as the pricing history for comparable cars. Considering the guy above me appraised his 19 gt pp2 at 27k for (which is a very fair estimate IMO), expect your trade in to be around 17-18k, wholesale to be about 20-21k and retail to be a few grand above that.

Car is sold and yes......I got $34,500 for it!!!

Words of advice to anyone selling a modded car........Mustang6G is not the place to sell a highly modified car. Too many lowballers and naysayers. You can get a lot more than book value on a heavily modded car, but the key is finding the right buyer.
