Well everyone my replacement knee finally let me know that I cannot daily drive a stick shift car with 3.55 gears around my area (I cannot imagine with 3.73) . The 3 bad discs in my back didn't help either so I had to let her go. I will miss the "tomato" she was the fastest vehicle I ever owned. I wish I had the means to keep her and get another car for my DD but that is not going to happen. I did stay with the Ford Family I just got something that is easier in city traffic, and I don't have issues getting in and out of due to my back. I will still be around the site as all of you have been great to talk with.

Anyway here is the new ride I really like this vehicle and I don't have to worry about snow either.

it's a 2017 Escape Titanium 4WD in Lightning Blue She already needs a bath and I just picked up last Monday.

My brother made sure I didn't get killed trading the Tomato in. I hope everyone is OK with me staying around as I said you are a great group of people.

I had to do the same thing. I got the same vehicle as you but in red. I really miss my orange beast.

I like that they updated the 2.0 for 2017. The turbo is now a twin scroll like the ecoboost in the Mustang. She has adaptive cruise control, navigation and the Sony surround sound stereo. I do love Sync 3 it is so much faster.

I drive a 14 Escape for work. It's the non turbo engine. I have driven the Ecoboost Escapes and they have way more power than the base Escape. It's Easier to get in and out of compared to the Mustang but the one I drive for work is a pretty boring ride. I totally get why you have to get another vehicle. I've done it in the past. Good luck

As the owner of a bad back myself, I "feel" your pain! I had a double laminectomy about 17 years ago. Now my left knee is bad from hyper-extending it working on my sons car almost 3 years ago. I still refuse to give up the manual trans!!
And while I was waiting on my '15 to be built, I was driving my son's '95 with a King Cobra clutch and having to park in handicapped parking due to the bad left knee. No kidding, I could drive that heavy clutch all day with no problem, but as soon as I tried walking I almost fell flat on my face.
Really felt stupid parking in handicapped parking for a bad left knee and driving a manual trans. :headbonk:

Same option but I have the 19 inch tires and the sunroof. Got it loaded up. Sync 3 is faster for sure. Don't use the android auto don't care for it. Maybe I just need to use it and get used to it.

My wife has a 16 2.0 Titanium Ruby Red and I was driving that weekends when we were off together because the Mustang was killing me. I don't know how the Android Auto works but if its anything like the Apple Car Play you just plug in your phone and that's it. It reads and lets you respond to texts, let's you use Pandora or Spotify and maps if you need to. I didn't want to have two Rubies in the drive way...

I have a Deep Impact Blue 1.6 EB Escape 4WD for work. It's OK but I notice how much slower it is compared to my 2017.

I have plugged my phone in and played around a little bit. Just don't like what I have seen. Never tried again. What really drove me crazy about it was I wanted to it to read a text that came in while I was playing and it told me it couldn't read text message right now. Gave up after that.

I hear ya man. I went with the A6 because of my knee replacement. It helps tremendously with the driving, but not at all for getting in and out. I've been searching for a possible replacement, and the new Escape is high on my list. I had an '03 and an '08 Escape before and they were great vehicles. I'm just a little worried about trade value. I owe $33,800 on my '15 GT Premium with Navi. If you don't mind my asking, what were you able to get for yours? If I hadn't just bought a house 2 months ago I wouldn't care about the payment. I'm looking at maybe leasing cause I'd like to get my payment down about $250 a month to cover the difference between what I was paying for rent and the house payment.
TIA and congrats on the new ride.

Think long term, do not lease. Bad financial decision in the long run. Get into something you can afford now. Especially if you put a lot of miles on a car. Unless you have a budget to swap into a new car every two years, that is.

Thanks, I am really loving this color it get a lot of compliments.
I got $32,000 for the Tomato she was a 15 GT premium with the premium interior and navigation, I only had 9700 miles on her though. Plus its my brothers dealership :ford: (he is a sales manager). I agree with Scott watch out for leasing. We did that for the wife's car because she drives very little, just work and the store.
