Ive been thinking about this way too long and i have to admit, I'm stuck. The goal is a square 19x10 set as light as possible without blowing the budget. The car is a 19 EB, Magnetic with Black Accent Pkg and I'm sticking with that color scheme. When I upgraded the rear spoiler I had it painted gloss black, same as the factory spoiler, and the new wheels will be gloss black as well. If I had to have a theme from my mods so far, it would probably be "if Shelby built an EB, what would they do to it?" That wasn't planned, but with the Drake Shelby style spoiler and GT350 springs/sways etc., it seems to be going in that direction.
The budget seems to point towards "rotary forged" for weight and strength at a good pricepoint and SVE has a few models i like that seem to be pretty popular here. Problem is, I've managed to narrow down from 3 choices to 4. Yes, I'm moving in the wrong direction, I need help.
Here are the 4 I'm considering:

SVE SP2, 19x10 et35, $1000/set, 24.1 lbs. This was the choice when it first came out but I wasn't ready then. When I was ready, they weren't available, and then winter came and I needed new all-seasons. It's spring soon, i still like these, but i like others too.

SVE S350, 19x10 et40, $1100/set, 24.0 lbs. This was the choice before the SP2 came out, and is such a close call that the SP2 never knocked it out of the running. I guess the analysis paralysis has been going on for a while.

SVE R350, 19x10 et35, $1100/set, 24.5 lbs. When the S350 was the #1 choice, this was in second place. I like it, but I'm not sure if it's what I want. But this brings me to another consideration.

The Poser Factor.
Ok, poser isn't the right word for it. A build that is a bit of an homage isn't a bad thing at all and I'm doing something the factory never did but with pieces fro selected other versions. Still, these wheels are all replicas of factory wheels that come on cars that I don't have so I'm a little torn on this point.
I ordered my EB to be a daily commuter with the idea of making the twisty part of my commute more fun. I did not order the EBPP because I knew I'd be removing most of it for upgrades, building something along the lines of an EBPP2. Considering how many GT350R parts there are in my car , I feel like the R350 is somehow appropriate for a build that is becoming a bit of a GT230R. Which brings me to the 4th choice.

SVE R355, 19x10 et35, $1000/set, 23.65 lbs. I didn't like these at all when I first saw them. They remind me of a hundred other done-to-death 5 spoke wheels that you see on an assortment of other vehicles. They've grown on me though. I love the curve of the GT350R style spoke and this still has that, it just has a couple less spokes and, on the plus side, weighs a little less. Seems appropriate for a GT230R.

Project 6gr 7 spokes are a better version of the R350, but they cost more too. Much deeper concave than the R350.

that said, if you have too many 350R parts, go someplace else with the wheels. I voted for the SP2

I like the Project 6gr wheels and I'm sure the quality offsets the price difference, but that price difference is over 50%. My weekend work (where the money for toys comes from) isn't what it used to be.

I'll give you the same advice I got when I first got my Roush and was debating mods vs keeping everything stock. This is YOUR car. Make it YOURS.

Thanks, I'm no stranger to mods, just not sure which direction to take. Please, feel free to add a vote for the wheel of your choice, I'm completely deadlocked and a handful of votes might push me one way or another.

If going for a square setup, is the concave really that much better with the Project6GRs? The rears I can tell from pics are deeper than the SVEs but if going with a 19x10 square that puts the “fronts” at all four corners, will there still be a noticeable difference in the concave?

I prefer the SP2. Looks mean, which is what I tend to like.

I voted R355. Love the idea of 230R. Definitely unique.

To add more complexity to your decision, I have the SVE R357's and really like them. Somewhat similar in design to Forgestar F14's. I do really like the SP2's as well.

I think the R325 is the best looking. I also like the XS7, but no 19's is a deal breaker.

The +40 wheels might need a small spacer up front with wider 285+ tires.

I'd meant to ask about the difference in offset, thanks for the info.

I drove myself crazy looking at wheels. I like the look of my OEM PP2 wheels and get many compliments, that being said I wanted something lighter.

After scouring green Mustang images, I decided on the R350's after looking at a couple of green GT350's. I just have to get them installed now, they sitting in my garage.

Wait until the poll when I can't decide which tires to put on them. LOL
