I called the 800 number listed on the recall site.
She said customers get info before them a lot of times.
Knew nothing of the recalls yet but took my info to pass along to regional rep for Texas and will give me a call tomorrow.
My main question was how did a recall car make it to dealer and mine is still at the rail yard? Was it inspected and fixed at rail or delivered to dealer to fix?
If fixed at rail then they are making progress. It not, why was my car left behind?
I hope they give me a good answer tomorrow.

Good luck getting a legitimate answer out of them. Mine had to be reordered.... I'm sure you'll keep us posted.

if your car was a dealer stock car then ford doesnt consider it "your car" they have no reason to rush it.. to them they can hold it there forever and it doesnt matter because it doesnt have a customers name on it.. that's another reason you order retail.

In my situation the dealer did it without my knowledge. So as far as the dealership and I are concerned that is my vehicle regardless of the fact that it was all ordered stock or not. It's tough to think otherwise when you contact the dealership and the vehicle is constantly regarded to as yours. I don't blame ford but I place the blame on the dealership.

i actually called them yesterday as well, they said they are opening a case and will have the area rep call me today. trying to find out why it was built just about a month ago and still has not shipped or what they are doing with it. they dont even have a date for it now, the dealer says the date was moved to TBD arrival date. original date was yesterday, 10/20, then they said moved to 10/30-11/5, now TBD, so who knows what is going on any longer. if they would just tell me it would be a lot better.

Area Rep called just now. Said he is waiting on response from other people in channel. (So probably sent emails) And would call me back by end of business day on Thursday if not sooner. He also gave me his number and extension.
I had asked about the other call on recall list already being delivered and I was wanting to know if fixed or not. He believed these would be fixed at dealership but would confirm and get back to me.
