I found a GIGANTIC difference with more weight in the trunk. I put 2 2'X2'X2" cement paver tiles in the truck - about 160-200lbs. Keeping the gas tank full helps as well. I am running the A/S Neros and no problems in ice and snow. Still want high performance snowies though for extra traction.

Snow/wet mode is a menace for anybody that knows how to drive a RWD car. Just turn traction control off manually.

Picked up my 16 yesterday amid flurries...Has brand new Pirelli A/S on it from the dealer. Didnt have and issue but it was mainly just really cold. We dont see a ton of snow around my area..maybe 3-4 times a year for light snow and maybe one heavy and the temp bounces all over the place. Supposed be back in the 50's this week. I think Pure Snows would be overkill for me. Will be swapping out to Conti DWS 06's next year as my dedicated winter
