Smallest mod ever - valve stem caps

Has anyone changed theirs? Looking for either a GT or 5.0 one. Pics? Reviews? Where to buy?

Found some for as low as $7 on amazon, but people complained they were plastic...Or are they all plastic? Some on ebay go as high as $20 which I think is ridiculous.

The one's on american muscle look good but they're sold out..and wondering if I can get any cheaper. Yes i'm aware how cheap I am

I bought a set on ebay, tri-bar logo. I got them very cheap from China. I thought they would have been plastic or very cheap looking. I was very surprised as to how nice they were. Chrome, heavy, very sturdy and For 4 - 5 bucks, I am VERY pleased. No pic now, but will post one when I get a chance to take a one.

I tried finding the auction on ebay, but its past 90 days since my purchase and its no longer listed on 'my ebay'

The ones I have look similar to the ones on American Muscle.

Yes, they do look good. Mine were more like this....cheap and dirty, but the quality seems fairly good. But what can ya get for a couple of bucks :shrug:

• No seizing
• No affect on tire balancing
• No affect on your tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Were yours chrome plated? Or all metal? Any problems with yours being metal?

Mine may be chrome plated. But they are definitely all metal. I was surprised by the weight of these. Don't get me wrong, they don't weigh a ton. But when you hold them on your hand, you know you are holding metal.

I don't think I would use them in winter on a salted road, but for a summer car, mine are just fine

I have some that my friend gave to me. They are black with the blue ford logo on them. I'll see if I can find them online or i'll take a pic when I get a chance. It came with a matching key chain too.

Hey apparently a lot of the valve caps don't cover the whole stem


1) Will the exposed brass or stem being exposed to the elements do any damage?



2) Is it even noticeable? There aren't many pics of the actual aftermarket valve cap on the wheel, and even if there are, it's hard to see. I mean, I may have answered my own question, but my wheels will be black so just wondering.
