Link not included because it looks spammy... but you can find it by googling “sliplo”.

Title says it all - this is the self-adhesive strip of plastic wedges that you put on the bottom of your splitter to help it slide over driveways, curbs, etc. Obviously doesn’t prevent the splitter from being crushed, but claims to minimize scrapes, etc.

This product is like $100 for one kit and they recommend 2... there must be decent other options out there.

Makes sense, sticks on, and you "wear it out" instead of wearing the splitter out.

That being said, I used to own a low rider back in the day with 50 series tires and a 4" drop, a little rub here or there doesn't even make me cringe.

Head over to the GT350 and GT500 subforums here. Lots of posts with happy users and installation tips.

I used Sliplo on my Corvette splitter. Great stuff. Highly recommend.

Thanks, folks! I've had this PP2 splitter on for a little over a week now and although I can navigate my driveway pretty well, there are a bunch of other driveways out there that are killin' me. Good thoughts to check on the 350/500 crowd, I know they're in worse shape than a typical PP2 - I'll see what I can find there.
