Looks like I've picked the most unwanted colour going
Thats a good thing!

There is not a bad colour and Guard looks great.

I thought I would be the only bloke in a CO Mustang but then I didnt consider Essex boys!

Lol, there were a lot of CO's there from what I saw! Hopefully my pictures grabbed a 'true' colour of what it looks like in the flesh! It's a gorgeous colour.

Granted, they actually all are in their own way!

You are all going to have to improve and practice your synchronised parking for NC500 :p

Actually, mine was perfect. It was the guys the either side of me!! (joking)
Yeh, it would have been nice to line them up better.

There must have been 40 or 50 cars there at one time! Maybe more. Could have made a great pic all on the main straight

First three are perfect Steve, those two at the end..........

I'm surprised they never got a shot of you all in the straight, static but 3 abreast or similar, would've made a great promo shot

Or on the starting grid

Starting grid would have been a brilliant picture!. When I drove there were like 4 or 5 of us on the track, think the later racers got 10-20 on the track at a time.

Really good morning. Thanks to everyone at Ford who made it happen.

Car was much better than I imagined. I set myself a 6250-6500rpm limit and pretty much stuck to it. I knew the car was pretty good in a straight line but it was the front end that impressed me most. My car is stock but I was really surprised how well the front end stuck. Given the weight of the car I was expecting it to wash out quite easily but despite it rolling quite a bit on the standard springs/dampers/anti-roll bars the front really did bite quite hard. You guys with lowered/stiffened/braced cars must have been even more impressed. Having had the experience (on both a damp and dry surface, which was useful) I'm now more confident in the front end on the road, so that alone made it a worthwhile morning as far as I was concerned.

I didn't really attack the braking areas but to me the brakes and steering felt like they lacked a bit of feel - did anyone else think that? - a minor issue though and not really anything that would bother you too much on the road I don't think.

That was probably the first and last time my car will see a track though as I found myself acutely aware of the stresses and strains being applied to it and didn't like it! If I'd bought it as a track car fair enough, but I bought it to enjoy as a road car and it's already plenty good and fast enough for that. So a few minor cosmetic mods (engine OEM strut brace and LED front lights) will be made and also a bit of stiffening in the rear to stop the wheel hop, but that will be it I think.

As I said, a really good morning. To me it confirmed what a fantastically enjoyable car it is even in stock form - and for the money you just can't complain. Bloody brilliant in fact!

I was in an Ecoboost, and the braking was insane, packed a right punch! Literally hammered the brakes, could feel the ABS biting on it, stopping power was great, could get myself down speed really quickly - I didn't have a Manual unfortunately, so no engine braking!

Yep they had punch alright, but lacked a bit of feel - having said that the car has ABS so you can press as hard as you like and don't have to worry about locking a brake I guess. Not something I'm used to on a track car and to be honest the thought that the car has ABS never even entered my head yesterday! :)
