Another satisfied customer of Big Worm Graphix. I paid $200 for the installation of the stripes. I didn't trust myself to do it. The 1" taper they put in the stripes isn't noticeable except from a far away picture I have of the car:

:)

Yes, I know exactly what you mean, especially about the bumble bee, and I did not want to go there! I modeled white Shelby stripes using the Ford build your own GT350 site, and that looked good enough to consider for a while. In a way, I am paying homage to Grabber Blue heritage, especially since we can't order that color.

The color issue has been discussed many times. The way I see it, the colors fall into 3 groups: subdued, bright, and in-between (e.g. Ruby and DIB). IMO, the bright colors (yellow, orange, and red) do well with graphics, but it is trickier to do that with the other colors.

Personally, I am just tired of all the subdued colors (black, white, silver, gray, bronze, etc.) on ALL cars on the road anymore. So I went the opposite direction, since after all it is a sports car. (No, I wouldn't get a bright yellow Mercedes, for example. And for the record, I think most everyone's photos of their Mustangs in all the various colors look terrific.)

Anyway, I get compliments on the car (and specifically the color), just as everyone else here gets compliments on theirs, regardless of color, or graphics, or whatever.

[Note: this long explanation is not me getting defensive, lol. We should all be grateful that we have 10 good colors to choose from. ]
