Just installed. I DID however do with a Jam Nut...I was NOT a fan of the Locktite way. 12mm x 1.25 Thread... .$0.85 :-)...LOVE The quality and feel. Just like the one I have in my GT500!

Not that anyone cares, but Ill post anyway...here's my GT500 one another Speed Dawg!

I want to get my shift knob from speeddawg as well because I don't want to run an adapter. I like the idea of the jam nut over the Locktite too. Where'd you get yours?

Speed Dawg has jam nuts, but I bought at a local Ace Hardware. The literally had a draw of metric Jam Nuts...I almost fell on the floor. No Rube Goldberg needed...Again, Speed Dawg has a kit of 3. Maybe they can sell you a Jam Nut now that we know it works.

I'm guessing their non-licensed Ford/non Mustang shift knobs will also work on the Mustang, as long as I select the "12x1.25 Recessed for Mustang/Focus reverse lockout" thread size?

I ordered a white knob with rally stripes and a pony logo last night from Speed Dawg. I had ordered as a guest and registered with them after the order. My order did not show up on my account. So I waited for a day... just in case.:shrug: Still nothing, so I sent a message to their customer service though there site. Within an hour I received a call from Speed Dawg and was explained the whole issue. I was sent emails for my order, but went to my spam folder. Dumb ass me:headbonk:

The rep explained everything to me and all is great.

Bottom line. Knob is on the way and Speed Dawg Customer Service is fantastic.
