Just came in today!!!! im really happy with not only the knob, but with Speed Dawg. they actually sent me two. The Post Office lost the first one. i was waiting for nearly a week after the tracking number indicated it was suppose to had been delivered. i called Speed Dawg, they next day aired me another one out. Speed Dawg kicks ass!!!!

I love mine too! Great mod for the money.

You are returning one? Someone probably got their order bumped since there is a 3-4 week wait for the cut out to be done.

These look great. With the 2015 and this knob do you not have to run the reverse lockout adapter?

Thanks big time. So just order the thread with recessed reverse cut out? These take awhile to ship?

The site is a tad confusing at first, as they show different knobs in variants and each one you can choose colors, so don't look for an image with the exact color, look for design then back in...here is my email exchange...and yes 3 - 4 weeks they build to order (and from what I understand make for almost all the companies out there):

Here is the link to order (with the Rally stripes): http://www.speeddawg.com/ford-racing-logo-rally-stripe-shift-knob/
Just select the "Black knob with White graphics" option
Select the "6RUL" shift pattern option
Select the "12mm x 1.25 Recessed for Mustang/Focus reverse lockout" option
You do NOT need a 12V momentary switch
You do NOT need a boot retainer
We will produce it for you and ship it about 3 weeks from the date that the order is received.
If you want to order without the Rally stripes just fill out the same selections at this link: http://www.speeddawg.com/ford-racing-logo-shift-knob-with-pattern-1/

nope, it came ready to go. removed the old one, little blue lock tight, screwed it on to the bottom thread gentility, back it off one complete rotation, lined it up the way I wanted it and then left it overnight. works and feels great.

Just installed. I DID however do with a Jam Nut...I was NOT a fan of the Locktite way. 12mm x 1.25 Thread... .$0.85 :-)...LOVE The quality and feel. Just like the one I have in my GT500!

How did you get a jam nut tightened up against the bottom of the ball with the reverse lockout mechanism in place?

The nut fit inside the mechanism so I just raised and lowered until I got it tight. It took sometime, but I eventually got it.

Great idea, I agree with you on the Loc-tite (will make it really difficult to remove). I have ordered several products from Speed Dawg and I've always been happy with my purchases. Just ordered a shift knob for the 2015 thanks to seeing the pics here.
