I have been getting this annoying knock from my back driverside. Recently, I realized i could get a fingernail between the upper right shock bolt and the wall. It was torqued to speck, so I asked a local shop to hit it with air for me. Drove off, and no knocks until near home. Pulled the wheel and the small space is still there, hard to see just looking at it straight on, but it failed my flush fingernail test lol.
I have been checking everything, toe rods, vertical links, sway bar bolts. Annoying as hell
Could this very tiny gap cause the shock to knock? The gap appears to be more prominent on one side of the bolt.
