Shifter rattles bad... Any suggestions to eliminate it?

'15 Mustang GT Premium and '05 Neon SRT4
I switched to the Barton full shifter and love it. Gets rid of the collar altogether as it’s a push down style reverse.

and it doesn't rattle?

Maybe a thick grease type product that still moves freely but sort of holds the plastic a bit so won’t rattl?

Correct. Since it deletes the reverse collar, there is nothing to rattle :)
well shit, I wish I would've known that before retaining the stock backup.

forgive me, Bulutt, but I don't think I should have to correct a product this extensively engineered, let alone if the company knew 'bout this defect for years, has a solution, but just didn't incorporate it into their products; even informing the potential customers of the extent of NVH before retaining the stock backup collar would've been better.
