Garage organizing/Slatwall project is finally coming to completion. Just a few tweaks to some of the devices, hooks, baskets, etc.
Also added another poster above the garage door.
Final project will be the Swiss Trax flooring in the spring.

Felt like the garage needed some "bling" so purchased a couple of Route 66 Neon (LED) signs to try out. Ended up putting one in the garage and the other on the wall in my office down stairs. Really changes the look/atmosphere of the room. Looking to add another one down the line. Don't want to go too crazy because often times less is more.
Also mounted a copy of my car show board. First proof had some defects on it, so I was gifted with this extra one for the garage.

The new to me 350 gets the 'rapid exit' spot for the near future...having a hard time walking by it and not taking it out to let every one of the 500+ ponies get some exercise.

that some pretty sweet company the 350 is hanging out with!

Alright John…. What say you? You have the ultimate Porsche, how would you compare the GT3 to the GT350 for driving thrills?
I have a Porsche 718, but I still like my GT350 more due to the exhaust.
Which one is your favorite to drive?
You have my dream combo.

Not a good time to discuss....still weak at the knees from enjoying the Shelby. But here goes.
  1. I have a sportier exhaust than normal on the GT3...1" bypass from the goezinta to the goezoutta (just missing the selectable valving for 'sport) and, well, maybe higher flow rate and I'll leave it there. And while the song from Mr. Mezger's symphony doesn't suck, the FPC rally cry is on another level altogether.
  2. The GT3 does one thing really well: 1 lateral G at any speed (more lat G the faster though). I've raced a variety of different Porsches throughout the left coast and feel entirely comfortable being there at 1 lat G. That said, the 350 is like an M3 on steroids. It does so many things so well that I'm going to check myself into the psyche ward for waiting so long to get on board.
  3. The brakes on the 350 is hands down a better package. Call it another 15 years of technology (maybe) but I feel like the 350 could do a forward flip with all the damned bite it has. We pay the price with the HAZMAT fees for excessive brake 'byproduct', but at this point I believe it is worth the bite and performance.
  4. The suspension is god like. Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound or soak up crappy CA roads like they aren't there. The GT3 will rattle fillings, my E46 M3 with Koni Sports/Dinan springs/swaybars will definitely remind you the road sucks, but I believe the weight of the 350 combined with the MagneRide make most roads entirely tolerable (enough that the Mrs wouldn't rather get out and walk).
I'm selling a 981 S for a friend and it's so clean I considered adding it to the stable in lieu of the 350. Very happy with my choice selecting the 350. So now the dilemma is keeping Stuttgart's finest no-PASM example GT3 or fill the slot with a track version of the VooDoo beast. Nice 1st world problem to contemplate so stay tuned for more to follow.

Welcome to the club! I'm continually amazed at this car and just shake my head after a full track day. This article/video convinced me to take the leap..

We had a few mice around the house. I bought the same style victor traps but with wifi, tells you when they have done the deed. Got them direct from victor.
