Sensitivity: 77.3dB, these are REALLY power hungry.
Now, with an aftermarket amp...

You can use the sensitivity number along with the power rating (100w) to give an idea how loud the speaker might get, but there are other considerations. They don't show at what frequency the sensitivity rating was measured. It could have been obtained at 1000Hz, likely outside the operating frequency range for its intended purpose.

The calculated max SPL of the SWS-6.5X is about 97dB, perhaps not loud enough for some. The sensitivity, by itself, cannot tell you if a speaker is power hungry. If the speaker had a max SPL of 115dB with the same listed sensitivity, then the term "power hungry" may be fitting.

Whoooosh ! As the plane fly's overhead ! Looking at those speakers, I am wondering would they even fit in the door ? I would guess from what I am reading, these would be good on a aftermarket setup..perhaps a 5 channel with a LC8i ?

Hoping my little 10 setup gives me all the bass I need.
