I am still learning how to drive my manual and I stalled out at a stop sign. Surprise. Anyway, I started my car and went on my way but there was an alert that pop up on the small screen. "See Owner's Manual" with a picture of a wrench. I pulled over and shut off my car and looked in the manual and could find NOTHING. I restarted my car and the light and alert were gone.

Can anyone shed some light on this and where I can find the information on what it means?

Thanks!

P79 of the owner's manual highlights all dash lights/warnings and I could not find one that you describe. Typically on a stall the engine light will stay on until restarted, and I typically will receive a Press Clutch to Start message.

Next time can you take a quick picture of what you see?

On page 7 of the owners manual there is a symbol glossary. "See Owner's Manual" is the second one. But that is the only reference to the symbol. No explanation.

Thanks, I didn't even check the beginning of the manual and I see that now. Seems very twilight-zone ish!

I copied this from another fourm so take it for whats its worth.

If your pony ever goes into "limp-mode", where the Wrench icon comes on indicating you have an Electronic Throttle Control Error, your engine will reduce the number of cylinders its running on to prevent harm to the engine. And you will feel the noticable lack of power immediately. to get back to normal engine response, tuen the car off and then restart. the ETC code will be stored in the ECM and allow the engine to resume normal operation so long as the problem is not fatal. Don't unhook the positive battery cable, it will kill the error code to the ECM. big thing I learned from this is to shut engine off, start back up and the engine should resume normal and error code will go to ECM for dealer or tuner to pull later.
