I'm in the middle of doing OPGs and figured I'd install the MMR billet secondary tensioner bracket while I had the timing cover off. Problem is, I can't figure out how to get the secondary tensioner off. It looks like I have to remove the cam phasers but I don't want to start taking stuff off without some direction. Can anybody who's done this give me some pointers.

The MMR instructional video starts with the guy holding the tensioner and cap in his hand.

I’ve done it to mine and three others. You do have to remove the cam phasers. Three bolts on each phaser. You’ll remove those bolts, pull both phasers equally and they will come forward about a 1/4 inch, rotate the secondary chain guide so it is 90 degrees of the secondary chain and pull the phasers the rest of the way off. Take pics before removing for reference. The tolerances are very tight when putting the cam phaser back on so be very patient. When you pull the phasers off, keep the chain connected to them and just set it down in a position that puts your hands back on them for installation in the same position. It’s not complicated and easy from everything else you’ve done to this point.
I might have the ford manual instruction to send you if you’d like. Just pm me with your email plus I’ll have a couple pics of my own to send you.

No problem. Sent you the service guide for that procedure and some pics of mine. Let me know if you have any other questions.
